I think email experience is broken and there is a gap for professional mail client that gets out of your way and helps you achieve your goals (ex: never miss important mail ever again, follow up on time, keep up with many different information flows).
First of all, I don't want any third parties to have access to my inbox. That's why I made Tecotype an offline app with zero telemetry.
Second of all, professional software should be tasteful and efficient. I find keyboard-first workflows superior, that's why mouse is not required to use Tecotype.
Third, it's important that software can adapt to your needs, rather than you working around limitations. That's why you can extend functionality of your mail client as you wish (soon).
